I am pleased to inform you that I presented my letter of credence signed by His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Türkiye, addressed to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, on 14 July 2026, accrediting me as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

It is a great honor for me to represent the Republic of Türkiye in Malaysia.

Türkiye and Malaysia cherish a cordial brotherly relationship emanating from historical ties, common values, and warm amity between our two nations. This friendship is further strengthened by a shared vision for peace, stability, and prosperity across the globe.

Thanks to the strong political will by the leadership of our two countries, our bilateral relations have gained further momentum in recent years encompassing a wide range of areas from political, cultural, economic interaction to cooperation in defense industry, education, and tourism.

As two comprehensive strategic partners, Türkiye and Malaysia have established this year the mechanism of High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council to closely coordinate and enhance their bilateral cooperation in various fields.

I am confident that through our joint efforts, Türkiye and Malaysia stand to benefit immensely from the great potential our deepening cooperation and interaction have to offer.

Guided by our long-standing diplomacy tradition, and along with all the members of our Embassy, I will do my utmost to realize this potential during my tenure in Malaysia.
