Press Release Regarding the Recent Developments in the Middle East
We were informed by some travel agencies that a number of people have canceled their scheduled trips to Turkey due to the recent developments in the Middle East.
We would like to bring to the attention of the Malaysian people that Turkey is not affected and is not expected to be affected by the ongoing instability in the region
The nature of the domestic uprisings in several countries suggests that they would not pose any security threats to third countries.
Turkey, with its democratic regime, stable political and economic environment, advance infrastructure and high class facilities welcomes its guests any time of the year.
Please also kindly note that there is no travel warning issued by any country for their citizens not to travel to Turkey, where security is intact and peace prevails.
